Get ready to experience the sweetness of spring in Poultney at MapleFest 2026 — a beloved celebration of community, tradition, and Vermont’s iconic maple season.

On Saturday, March 21, our historic downtown will come alive with festive events, local food, live music, and family-friendly activities that bring neighbors and visitors together in true Poultney style. From maple-inspired treats to hands-on fun for kids, there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we welcome the season with open arms.

Throughout the weekend (March 21-22), more than a dozen local sugarhouses will open their doors, inviting you to step inside and see the magic of maple syrup in action. Explore the countryside, meet the sugarmakers, and witness a time-honored craft that has shaped our region for generations.

MapleFest is proudly hosted by more than a dozen nonprofit organizations and remains a free, community-centered celebration thanks to the support of local partners, volunteers, and visitors like you.

Indulge in Maple Delights: From mouthwatering pancake breakfasts to delectable baked goods and a hearty community ham dinner, your taste buds were in for a treat!
Fun for All Ages: The Kid-Zone was buzzing with bouncy houses, arts and crafts, and face painting, while horse-drawn wagon rides and historical tours offered a charming journey through Poultney’s past.
Explore Local Sugarhouses: Discovered the magic behind maple syrup as we visited more than a dozen local sugarhouses, witnessing firsthand the time-honored tradition.
