Bob
Bob Williams, a lifelong Poultney resident and 1971 graduate of the University of Vermont, dedicated over 60 years to his family’s hardware business.
A pillar of the community, Bob has been instrumental in numerous local organizations, including the Poultney Downtown Revitalization Committee, Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce, Poultney United Fund, and Poultney United Methodist Church. He was also a key figure in the expansion of the Poultney Country Club and a two-time club champion.
Bob’s unwavering commitment to Poultney and its residents has made him a beloved figure and 2007 Poultney Citizen of the Year. Bob’s emphasis has always been to be very supportive of all town organizations and to help them with their success. He has been blessed to show his love for the community and the area residents have been very supportive to his business and made it an enjoyable place to work and have given him hundreds of dear friends.
